We are closely monitoring the track of Tropical Storm Isaias, currently expected to intensify to a Category 2 Hurricane prior to landfall Friday night. We encourage students in the potential path of the storm to pre-emptively download any course material you may need should outages impact your ability to access coursework, allowing you to stay on track as best as possible. Faculty will be flexible with deadlines for students in impacted areas. If you are impacted, please communicate with your faculty member as soon as you are safely able.

We have decided to postpone the launch of the new student portal by a week, from October 7 to October 12. This delay will help ensure we can adequately test the information coming into the portal and ensure a smooth launch. As a reminder, this portal will be very different from our previous one and will also be launched in a way that will allow us to add features and functionality down the line. At launch, you should be able to register yourself for classes, view your unofficial transcripts, establish payment plans, and make payments.

Friday 9/11/2026 was our final day in our current SIS before a ~3 week transition period. During this period we will be able to conduct almost all business as normal with some delays. 

Information about what we can and cannot do during this time in-between systems is available on Waldorf.edu/Jenzabar.

As a reminder, your MyWaldorf Student Portal will also be unavailable during this period and the URL will forward here. When the portal returns on 10/7/26, it will be on a new platform. Access to Blackboard (your courses) will remain fully uninterrupted during this period. 

All phone lines and emails will remain fully operational and monitored while we are transitioning, so please reach out to us if you have any questions or need anything.
